Which Asia VPS plans are sold as unmetered, and at what port speed?
Unmetered plans exist in all three cities, and each one is bounded by a port speed, a fair-use rule or a minimum plan size. The table lists the unmetered offers the survey found, with the port speed each host writes on its own page.
Unmetered VPS offers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo
| Host | Cities | Smallest unmetered plan and monthly price | What the host writes | Port speed | Crypto, no ID at signup |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| is*hosting | Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo | Premium, 4 vCPU / 8 GB / 50 GB, $39.99 | Unmetered on its Premium and Elite plans; 1, 2 or 3 TB on the smaller ones | 1 Gbit/s | Yes; ID checked selectively, by risk score |
| Servury | Hong Kong | VPS-100, 4 vCPU / 4 GB / 40 GB, $15.59 per 31 days | Unmetered; its terms set a fair-use level near 1 Gbit/s at the 95th percentile | 100 Mbit/s | Yes |
| Ultahost | Singapore, Tokyo | VPS Basic, 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 30 GB, $6.89 | Unmetered under its own fair-use policy | Not published | Yes |
| OperaVPS | Singapore | VPS 512, 1 vCPU / 0.5 GB / 10 GB, $7.99 | Unmetered, 1 Gbps port | 1 Gbit/s | USDT only; ID policy not determined |
| Server.HK | Hong Kong, Tokyo | HK-1H2G, 1 vCPU / 2 GB / 30 GB, $5.00 | Unmetered | 2 to 14 Mbit/s, by plan | Yes |
| RAKsmart | Singapore | Built in a configurator, $0.30 per Mbit/s | Unmetered at the speed you buy | 1 to 100 Mbit/s | Crypto for VPS not confirmed |

How much can an unmetered port carry in a month?
The port speed sets the true monthly ceiling of an unmetered plan. A port used at full speed, in one direction, for a 30-day month moves at most the volumes below. Shared ports and fair-use rules lower the real figure; none of the hosts above publishes a sustained rate.
Port speed and the most it can move in 30 days
| Port speed | Ceiling in a 30-day month | Compared with a quota |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Mbit/s | about 3.2 TB | Less than a 4 TB quota |
| 30 Mbit/s | about 9.7 TB | About 2.4 times a 4 TB quota |
| 100 Mbit/s | about 32 TB | About 8 times a 4 TB quota |
| 1 Gbit/s | about 324 TB | Never reached on a shared port |
Arithmetic: speed in bits per second × 2,592,000 seconds ÷ 8, in decimal terabytes. A ceiling, not a measured throughput.
How much traffic does a VPS include in each city?
According to Lacquerbay's survey of 2 November 2026, 17 of the 22 least expensive 1 vCPU / 1 GB plans ranked in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo include exactly 1 TB of traffic a month; three are sold as unmetered and two include more. Larger plans grow their quota with the size. The table shows the traffic of the first-ranked plan of each size and city, from crypto hosts that ask for no ID.

Do hosts give Asia less traffic than Europe?
Yes: several hosts charge the same price in Asia as in Europe but include a fraction of the traffic. The pattern is written on the hosts' own pages. Some list traffic as unlimited for Europe and the USA and as a fixed quota for "other locations", which include Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.
Asian allowance against the same host's European or US allowance
| Host | Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo | Europe or USA | Price difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Cloud | Singapore: 0.5 to 5 TB; extra traffic €7.40 per TB | Germany and Finland: 20 TB; extra €1.00 per TB | Singapore 23 to 38% dearer |
| Servers.Guru | Singapore: 1 to 3 TB outbound | Netherlands line: 20 TB | Separate plans |
| VSYS Host | Singapore: 1 to 8 TB, no DDoS protection | Amsterdam, North America, Kyiv: 2 to 32 TB | Same price |
| GreenCloud | Asia-Pacific: 750 GB to 6 TB on Budget KVM | About twice as much on its US and EU plans | Same price |
| 1Gbits | 1 to 4 TB quota | Listed as unlimited | Same price |
| MonoVM | 0.5 to 4 TB quota | Listed as unlimited | Same price |
| Amazon Lightsail | Hong Kong: half the bundle ($7 plan: 1 TB) | Tokyo and Singapore get the full bundle ($7 plan: 2 TB) | Same hourly rate |

Hetzner, VSYS, 1Gbits and MonoVM compared as listed on their own pages on 2 November 2026; Lightsail's half allowance applies to its Hong Kong region against its Tokyo and Singapore regions.
Which mainstream clouds keep the same allowance in Asia?
DigitalOcean, Akamai (Linode) and Vultr list the same allowance for a plan in Singapore or Tokyo as elsewhere. DigitalOcean writes that its bandwidth pricing has no regional variation and pools the allowance of all Droplets in a team; extra transfer costs $0.01 per GiB. Linode adds each plan's allowance to an account-wide pool, with $0.005 per GB beyond it; only Jakarta and São Paulo carry their own rates. Vultr lists 1 TB on its $5.00 plan in Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore alike.
Amazon Lightsail is the exception inside Asia: same price in its three regions, half the transfer in Hong Kong, and outbound overage at $0.14 per GB in Tokyo, $0.12 in Singapore and $0.09 in Hong Kong. How much traffic does a Lacquerbay VPS include?
Lacquerbay states a monthly quota in terabytes for every plan and sells no unmetered plan. The quota is the same in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Every VPS gets one IPv4 address of its own and an IPv6 /64. Each plan states its monthly traffic in terabytes, counted on outbound data; traffic past that allowance is never billed automatically. Every plan sits on a 1 Gbit/s port shared with the other VPS of the same host.
Lacquerbay traffic per plan, same in all three cities
| Plan | vCPU / RAM / disk | Traffic a month | Month to month | A month on a 12-month term |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ink | 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 20 GB | 1 TB | $5.35 | $3.75 |
| Ember | 1 vCPU / 3 GB / 45 GB | 2 TB | $6.42 | $4.49 |
| Vermilion | 2 vCPU / 4 GB / 80 GB | 3 TB | $11.78 | $8.25 |
| Gilt | 4 vCPU / 8 GB / 160 GB | 4 TB | $19.28 | $13.50 |

How should you read a bandwidth claim before you buy?
Ask for two numbers: the monthly quota in TB and the port speed in Mbit/s or Gbit/s. If the page gives only one, the other is the limit you have not been told.
- "Unlimited" with no port speed: the fair-use policy is the real cap; read it before ordering.
- "Unlimited" in Europe, a quota elsewhere: check which column applies to Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo.
- A quota with an overage price: compare the price per extra TB, from $1.20 at Hetzner in Europe to $8.49 at Hetzner in Singapore.
- Inbound and outbound: Lightsail counts both; Hetzner, Servers.Guru and SurferCloud count outbound only.

Asia VPS bandwidth: short answers
Is there a Singapore VPS with unlimited bandwidth?
Yes, each with a cap of its own. On 2 November 2026, is*hosting sold unmetered traffic on a 1 Gbit/s port from $39.99 a month, OperaVPS from $7.99 on 1 Gbit/s (0.5 GB of RAM), and Ultahost from $6.89 without a published port speed.
Is there a Japan VPS with unmetered bandwidth?
In Tokyo, is*hosting and Ultahost sell unmetered plans at the same prices as in Singapore. Server.HK's Tokyo plans are unmetered on ports of 6 to 14 Mbit/s.
How much traffic is 1 TB a month?
One terabyte a month averages about 3 Mbit/s if spread evenly over 30 days. A site or API with steady traffic fits; video delivery or large downloads usually need more.
Why do Asian VPS plans include less traffic than European ones?
The hosts do not give a reason on the pages read. The pattern is visible in their own price lists: Hetzner includes 0.5 to 5 TB in Singapore against 20 TB in Germany and Finland, and Servers.Guru 1 to 3 TB in Singapore against 20 TB in the Netherlands.
Does Lacquerbay sell unmetered VPS?
No. Every Lacquerbay plan states its quota, from 1 TB to 4 TB a month, the same in all three cities. Every plan sits on a 1 Gbit/s port shared with the other VPS of the same host.
