Quick answer
What does Lacquerbay keep about me?
Lacquerbay keeps what billing and running your VPS require: your account number, an email only if you add one, your top-ups and orders, and for each VPS its plan, rental length, city, system, SSH public key and IP addresses. It keeps no connection or traffic logs, sets no cookies, loads no analytics and never asks for an ID document, a selfie or a card.
1. Who is responsible for your data
DomaineGoat LLC, a limited liability company registered in Panama, runs Lacquerbay and is responsible for the data described here. It is the seller named in the terms of service. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
2. Logs
We do not log connections, traffic or the IP addresses of visitors and customers, on the website, in the dashboard or on the VPS.
Like any website, our servers receive your IP address with each request. It is used to answer that request and, held in memory only, to limit how many requests one address can make; it is never written to a log or a file. The network equipment of the data centres in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo is not ours and follows the law of its own territory.
3. The records we keep
Each record below exists for one reason, and comes from one place.
| Record | Why we keep it | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account number | To sign you in and tie your balance, orders and VPS together | Created when the account is opened |
| Email address, if you add one | To send your account number back if you lose it | You, only if you choose to |
| Each top-up: amount, coin, network, date, transaction ID | To find the payment on the blockchain and credit it | You, and the public blockchain |
| Orders and balance movements | Billing, renewals and credits | Your orders |
| Each VPS: plan, rental length, city, system, IP addresses, dates of creation, renewal, suspension and deletion | To build, run, renew and bill it | Your order and the team |
| SSH public key and the name you give the VPS | To build or reinstall it with your key | You, at checkout |
| Temporary root password, when no key was given | To hand you the first login; it stops working once you change it | The team, at delivery |
| Referral code, if the link you came by carried one | To record where an order came from | The link you followed |
| Dashboard language | So the team writes to you in the right language | Your browser |
| Support emails | To answer them | Messages you send |
4. What we never collect
- No KYC: we ask for no identity document, no selfie, no card and no phone number.
- No name, postal address or birth date: none of our forms has such a field.
- No card or bank details, since only crypto is accepted.
- No private SSH key and no account number by email. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat.
5. Cookies and browser storage
Lacquerbay sets no cookies. Neither the website nor the dashboard loads analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and the fonts are served from our own server.
A few features keep small items in your browser's storage, on your device, until they expire or you clear them.
| Item | Where | What it holds | Sent to Lacquerbay? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Language choice | Website | The language you picked | No |
| Session | Dashboard | A sign-in token, removed when you sign out | Your account number travels with each dashboard request, over HTTPS |
| Account and payment copy | Dashboard | Your account number, optional email, language and top-ups, so a payment page survives a reload | Already on file |
| Pending top-ups | Dashboard | Top-ups our server has not yet received, sent again until it accepts them | Yes, until accepted |
| New account number | Dashboard, this tab only | A fresh account number until you confirm you saved it | No |
On a shared computer, sign out and clear the site's data when you are done.
When you pay in BTC, ETH, SOL or LTC, the payment page asks a public price service (Coinbase, or CoinGecko if Coinbase does not answer) for the US dollar rate. That request carries no cookie, no referrer and no account data, but the service sees your IP address as any website would. USDT and USDC count as one dollar and need no such request.
6. Crypto payments are public
A crypto payment is written on a public blockchain: anyone can read its amount, time and addresses. So the transaction ID of a top-up ties it to everything else the paying wallet has done. Every incoming payment is screened against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses, and money from a listed address is not credited. No card or bank processor is involved. No KYC does not make you invisible: each payment stays on a public blockchain, our records tie your account number to your orders and VPS addresses, and the data centre network carries your VPS traffic.
7. Your email address, if you give one
An email address is optional. The account number is the only key to your account, so keep it somewhere safe. An email on file lets you recover it; without one, a lost number cannot be restored. With an email on file, the recovery page of the dashboard sends your account number to it. When you write to support, we keep your address and your message to answer you.
8. How data is used, and who receives it
The records above serve to run your account, build and renew your VPS, credit payments, answer support and deal with abuse reports. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
What we do keep is what billing and running a VPS require: your account number, and an email if you chose to add one; each top-up and order (amount, coin, network, transaction ID, date); and for each VPS its name, plan, rental length, city, system, SSH public key, IP addresses and dates, plus the temporary root password when no key was given, which stops working once you change it. A referral code is stored only when the link you arrived by carried one. The data centre network equipment is not ours. Only an order of a Panamanian court can make us hand records over. A demand under foreign law, including a copyright notice, receives no data.
9. How long data is kept
- VPS disk: a VPS that is not renewed keeps its disk for 7 days, then it is deleted. A deletion or reinstall you ask for erases it at once.
- Temporary root password: it stops opening the VPS once you change it.
- Browser items: until you sign out or clear them (section 5).
- Billing records: as long as the account exists, so that balances, renewals and credits stay correct.
10. Your choices
You can use Lacquerbay without an email address. You can delete each VPS from the dashboard, which erases its disk. For any question about the data on your account, write to [email protected] with an order reference (ORD-…), never with your account number. The pricing page shows what an order contains before you pay.
11. Security
Your account number is your login: keep it in a password manager. Root over SSH is yours. Paste a public key at checkout and password login stays switched off; leave the field empty and the team sets a temporary root password, shown in your dashboard, which you replace with passwd at first login. Keep your private SSH key on your own device; nobody at Lacquerbay needs it.
12. Age
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger.
13. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy; the date at the top marks the version in force. Privacy questions: [email protected].
