Which Tokyo VPS hosts accept crypto without ID?
Eight hosts had a comparable Tokyo plan on 2 November 2026, and three of them sold 1 vCPU / 1 GB for under $7. The rules are the ones behind our own prices: crypto for the VPS, no ID at signup, IPv4 included, month to month, in stock, at least 1 TB a month on a port of 100 Mbps or more, no China-optimised route. Lacquerbay counted 22 hosts selling VPS in Tokyo that day, and 8 of them met these rules; the Asia VPS price index puts Tokyo next to Hong Kong and Singapore.

Medians: $11.50 for the first table, $27.94 for the second. HostDare's store lists its Japan plans in Tokyo while its marketing FAQ says Osaka; we kept the store's city.
How much RAM and traffic does a Tokyo VPS give for the money?
In Tokyo, the low end is generous with RAM and careful with traffic. WebHorizon's $6.00 plan has 3 GB of RAM but 1 TB of traffic; GreenCloud's EPYC VDS gives 16 GB of RAM for $20.00 with 4 TB. Several hosts keep their larger allowances for Europe and the USA: MonoVM and 1Gbits call their traffic unlimited there but list 1 TB for other locations, Tokyo included; which VPS in Singapore, Hong Kong or Japan has unmetered bandwidth is answered host by host.
Our allowance is the same in every city: 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB and 4 TB a month from Ink to Gilt. Every VPS gets one IPv4 address of its own and an IPv6 /64. Each plan states its monthly traffic in terabytes, counted on outbound data; traffic past that allowance is never billed automatically.
How do Vultr, Linode and Lightsail price Tokyo?
Vultr and Akamai (Linode) charge Tokyo the same as Singapore, $5 a month for 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 25 GB with 1 TB; Amazon Lightsail charges $7 for 2 vCPU / 1 GB / 40 GB with 2 TB. DigitalOcean has no Tokyo region. None of the three is a crypto-without-ID route: Linode and Lightsail take no crypto, and Vultr's billing FAQ asks for a card or PayPal to register (can you pay Vultr with crypto, and will it ask for ID). Evoxt lists a Tokyo VM at $5.99 but does not state that an IPv4 address is included, so it is not in the tables above.
Where does a Lacquerbay Tokyo VPS run?
Your VPS runs in a data centre inside the city you choose, on IP addresses registered to that territory (HK, SG or JP in the regional registry whois), so a Tokyo VPS is in Tokyo, not Osaka; how to check where a VPS is located explains how to confirm it. A VPS has data-centre IP addresses: we make no promise about how IP location databases, streaming services or other websites classify them.
It is a plain Linux server: Linux only, installed from our own images: Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux. Windows is not offered. We do not sell China-optimised routes such as CN2 GIA or CMI: every VPS leaves on ordinary international transit.

Do I need a Japanese phone number or ID?
No. No KYC: we ask for no identity document, no selfie, no card and no phone number. An account number is your whole login; an email address is optional, wherever you live, apart from the countries listed in the terms. Can I pay for a Tokyo VPS with Bitcoin or USDT?
Yes: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Top up from $25, then order the VPS from your balance.
Will websites see my VPS as being in Japan?
A VPS has data-centre IP addresses: we make no promise about how IP location databases, streaming services or other websites classify them.
How fast is a Tokyo VPS delivered?
A person on the team builds each VPS by hand once your payment is confirmed, within 24 hours; the dashboard shows its progress, then the IP address.
Is there a Windows VPS in Tokyo?
No. Linux only, installed from our own images: Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux. Windows is not offered.
