The same four prices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, how the 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-month lengths are worked out, what is not charged, and the plans we priced against on 2 November 2026.
How much does a Lacquerbay VPS cost in Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo?
A Lacquerbay VPS costs the same in all three cities: $3.75 to $13.50 a month on a 12-month term, or $5.35 to $19.28 month to month, with no setup fee. Each price was set on 2 November 2026 at least 25% under a named comparable plan of a crypto host that asks for no ID, sold in Singapore or Tokyo.

What does each plan cost for each rental length?
Choose a length to see the monthly cost and the amount billed. Every plan has a shared 1 Gbit/s port, one IPv4 and an IPv6 /64, and the same price in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. The “Best value” badge marks the plan that gives the most RAM per dollar month to month: Ember.
Every plan is a KVM virtual server with shared vCPU, reserved RAM and reserved NVMe space. vCPU are shared: your virtual cores run on physical cores that other VPS on the same host also use. The memory and the NVMe space of your plan are set aside for your VPS alone. The traffic allowance grows with the plan, from 1 TB to 4 TB a month.

How do the 1, 3, 6 and 12-month lengths work?
A longer rental costs less per month, and its price is fixed for the whole length. Rent a VPS for 1 month, 3 months (10% off), 6 months (20% off) or 12 months (30% off). A longer length costs the monthly price times 3, 6 or 12, minus its discount, rounded down to the cent: Ember is $17.33 for 3 months, $30.81 for 6 months and $53.92 for 12 months. A renewal repeats the same length at the price of your order, unless you pick another length for the next renewal in the dashboard.
The 3-month total of each plan is $14.44 (Ink), $17.33 (Ember), $31.80 (Vermilion) and $52.05 (Gilt). For 6 months: $25.68, $30.81, $56.54 and $92.54. For 12 months: $44.94, $53.92, $98.95 and $161.95.
Each VPS is prepaid from your crypto balance for one, three, six or twelve months, the length you pick at checkout. Auto-renew charges the balance again for the same length at the price you ordered at, unless you set a different length for the next renewal in the dashboard. When the balance falls short, the VPS stops at the end of its paid time; its disk is held for 7 days and then erased.
How is the Lacquerbay price set?
Each plan sits at least 25% under a named comparable VPS that we could buy on 2 November 2026 from a host that takes crypto and asks for no ID at signup. We do not claim to be the cheapest at every size: rented month to month, every plan costs more than the plan it is priced against. The comparison uses our 12-month price per month against the other host's month-to-month price. Lacquerbay compared 1,139 plan prices from 35 hosts and 5 mainstream clouds on 2 November 2026 to set it; the Asia VPS price index publishes them by city and size. A ranking by city and size is on what is the cheapest VPS in Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo? The full rule: One price per plan in all three cities. On a 12-month term, each plan is priced at least 25% under a named reference plan (prices read on 2 November 2026): Ink against VSYS Host's “VS-NVME1-1” in Singapore at $5.00 a month; Ember against WebHorizon's “EPYC-KVM-3GB” in Tokyo at $6.00 a month; Vermilion against VSYS Host's “VS-NVME2-4” in Singapore at $11.00 a month; Gilt against VSYS Host's “VS-NVME4-8” in Singapore at $18.00 a month. A reference has to be comparable and on sale in Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo at a host that accepts crypto and asks for no ID at signup: at least the same vCPU, RAM and disk, an IPv4 address included, payable month to month, in stock, at least 1 TB of traffic a month on a port of 100 Mbps or more, and no China-optimised route. Such a plan was on sale at 12 hosts (Servury, Servers.Guru, KoDDoS, VSYS Host, Ultahost, MonoVM, 1Gbits, is*hosting, WebHorizon, GreenCloud, HostDare, ExtraVM); for each plan the reference is the comparable one with the smallest monthly price among them, in whichever of the three cities it is sold. Left out: SporeStack asks new accounts for a first deposit of $1,000; BitLaunch publishes no price for its Asian servers; CryptoVPS.host does not state that an IPv4 address is included; Cloudzy showed every Asian plan as sold out; Server.HK sells only China-optimised routes there; SurferCloud caps the port of its Asian plans at 30 Mbps; Evoxt does not state that an IPv4 address is included.

Why is the price the same in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo?
One price per plan keeps the offer simple, wherever the VPS runs. Every plan costs the same in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Each price was set against a named plan sold in one of the three cities on 2 November 2026: Singapore for Ink, Vermilion and Gilt, Tokyo for Ember.
Minimum size of each row (vCPU / GB RAM / GB disk). Monthly prices read on each host's own site; comparable = IPv4 included, payable month to month, in stock, at least 1 TB a month on a port of 100 Mbps or more, no China-optimised route. Our column is the 12-month price per month.
What costs nothing extra, and what is not in the price?
Nothing is charged to set a VPS up: you pay the price of the rental length you chose, at the first order and at each renewal.
Not charged on any plan:
Setup: nothing to pay to have a VPS built.
The city: Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo cost the same.
A temporary root password: given free when you order without an SSH key.
Traffic past the allowance: Every VPS gets one IPv4 address of its own and an IPv6 /64. Each plan states its monthly traffic in terabytes, counted on outbound data; traffic past that allowance is never billed automatically.
Not part of the price:
Backups: Backups are not part of any plan: keep your own copies of whatever you cannot afford to lose.
Outgoing mail on port 25: Outbound SMTP on port 25 is blocked on every VPS and is not opened on request; send mail through a provider on port 465 or 587.
DDoS protection: No DDoS mitigation is promised beyond what the data centre network filters by default.
A free trial: There is no free trial: the smallest plan, Ink, is $5.35 for one month, or $3.75 a month on a 12-month term.
How does paying for a VPS in crypto work?
You sign in with an account number, top up in crypto and order a plan from your balance. A person on the team then builds the VPS in the city you chose.
Top up $25 or more
Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
Send it to the address shown, on the exact network
The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”
Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.
Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain
Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:

Order your VPS
Choose a plan, a rental length, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password), and the top-up is set to the price of that length. Once the payment is confirmed, a person builds your VPS within 24 hours and its IP address appears in your dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.
Questions about Lacquerbay prices
Does the price go up when my VPS renews?
No. A renewal repeats the length you chose at the price of your order. You can switch the length of the next renewal in the dashboard; Ink on a 12-month term stays at $44.94 for the year.
Is Hong Kong more expensive than Singapore?
Not at Lacquerbay. Every plan costs the same in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Each price was set against a named plan sold in one of the three cities on 2 November 2026: Singapore for Ink, Vermilion and Gilt, Tokyo for Ember.
Why does Ember have more RAM per dollar than Ink?
Ember was priced against a Tokyo plan with 3 GB of RAM, so it carries 3 GB at $6.42 month to month. The “Best value” badge marks the plan that gives the most RAM per dollar month to month: Ember.
Can I pay for 12 months and cancel early?
A longer length is paid up front and its days are not credited back when you delete the VPS early. Days are credited only when a VPS cannot be delivered or stops running and support cannot fix it: When a VPS cannot be delivered, or stops running and support cannot bring it back, the days lost are credited to your balance. A balance never expires. Top-ups are not cashed out unless a law demands it, except the amount added only to reach the minimum top-up: ask within 30 days of paying and, if unspent, it is returned in USDT or USDC.
Which coins can I pay with?
BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, from a prepaid balance with a $25 minimum top-up. Every incoming payment is screened against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses, and money from a listed address is not credited.
